Cricklewood SNT – Monthly Update

Dear Resident, 

Over the past month, our team has been working hard across the ward, and we wanted to share some key results with you. 

• Arrests for prolific shoplifting: have been made on Cricklewood Ward and Golders Green Road NW11. Several individuals linked to offences across Cricklewood and surrounding areas have now been charged and remanded for up to 24 months, with others receiving fines.  

• Stop and searches: continue to play an important role in keeping our community safe. Officers have seized Class A and B drugs, resulting in further arrests and fines.  

• High‑visibility patrols:  remain active in hotspot areas. These patrols have helped disrupt criminal activity and reduce antisocial behaviour (ASB).

• Partnership work: with schools and Barnet Council has strengthened our ability to manage ongoing issues. Recent joint operations with Barnet Council have identified local businesses selling illegal vapes, cigarettes, and handling stolen goods. Further operations are underway, and we will update you in due course.
